M4A1 MWS

I've waited a year to write this revie, to make sure I have used the TM MWS in all weather conditions and to use it a lot and see how reliable the Airsoft rifle was. I'm pleased to report the MWS has been excellent, great fun and really reliable even in our cold winter months. Out of the box it's perfectly servicable, but there are some minor upgrades that are recommended for most MWS users. Namely an NPAS unit for the nozzle (so you can adjust the gas output), and replacement nozzle return springs (if you intend to use green gas in the summer or HPA), and a Jeager Precision Hard nub (if like me you like heavier .32 ammo) - these 3 options are in my opinion the best and cheapest upgrades you can do early on. Of course once you have used the rifle for a bit, you might decide on other quality of life changes, in my case I replaced the standard stock and grip with Magpul MOE stock and Pistol Grip for a more sleek and comfortable experience but really these are optional bits of fun. Having a GBBR is a very different experience and change of pace compared to using an AEG. First and foremost you are limited to 35 rounds per gas magazine (unless you decide to get an Airtac HPA adapter), this limited ammo forces you to play a bit differently. And in my opinion it's for the better, it's made me a better airsofter, as now I take only shots I think I can hit, and I focus a lot more on my position on the skirmish field, going further forward and being more involved in the match. When you have an AEG with large ammo capacity, it's easy to get drawn into a static slinging match where you don't move much and waste a bunch of ammo. I also really enjoy the physical side of a GBBR that is the reload, followed by hitting the bolt release and the glorious sound a gbb makes when shooting. It's as close as you can get to the real thing in Airsoft :D Now onto skirmshop, they processed my order very fast, it was well packaged, they offered the best Price for the TM MWS in the UK and mine came with a free pack of Haribo Starmix (my favorite!), so top notch service from them.
